The Warning Signs of a Clogged Vent (A Fire Hazard)

Your dryer is telling you it's clogged. Are you listening?

• Sign #1: Long Drying Times. A 45-minute cycle now takes 90 minutes. This is the #1 sign the hot, moist air is trapped.
• Sign #2: The Dryer is Hot to the Touch. The outside of the machine is dangerously hot because the heat has nowhere to go.
• Sign #3: A "Burning" Smell. You smell a scorched odor when the dryer is running. This is the lint inside the vent starting to smolder.
• Sign #4: Lint on the Outside Vent. You go outside and see the vent cap is caked with lint, or no air is coming out at all.

Why is This a Critical Fire Risk?

Your dryer is a combination of high heat and (flammable) lint. A clear vent pushes the heat and lint out. A clogged vent traps the heat and lint together, creating a tinderbox. This is how thousands of house fires start every year.

Our Professional Cleaning Process

Cleaning your lint trap is not enough. The clog is in the long pipe in your wall.

• We connect our high-powered vacuum to the vent.
• We use flexible, rotating brushes that snake through the entire vent line, scrubbing it clean.
• We clear the exterior vent cap.
• We test the airflow to ensure it is clear, safe, and efficient.
